The "Spirit of Excellence Award-Emerging Leader for Global Public Service" granted to
MR. Mourad AHMIA, Executive Secretary of Group 77
In a ceremony held on Tuesday, June 14th, MR. Mourad AHMIA, Executive Secretary of Group 77 has been presented with the " Spirit of Excellence Award-Emerging Leader for Global Public Service" for the year 2005.
This Award granted yearly by the Institute of Leadership Development, based in Canada, was granted to MR. AHMIA for his effective role within the Group of 77 and China for the last ten years and for his outstanding achievements in the fields of public global service.
Dr Aouny Behnam, Executive Advisor for Second South Summit of the G77 and China attended the ceremony along with a number of experts and staff of the General Secretariat of the G77
