Commissions and working groups ready for the Second South Summit in Doha

As part of the preparations for the Second South Summit of the G-77 and China which the State of Qatar will host on the 15th and 16th of June, working groups within the Secretariat of the Summit have been formed and their tasks were established as follows:

1) The Group of Public relations:
The tasks of the group:
a- Provide necessary information to the participants and the visitors of the Summit.
b - Transmit comments, requirements and guests' commentaries to the concerned authorities.
c - Supervise and organize the inscription for the shuttles organized for the participants by the administration of the Summit.
d - Distribute forms and press releases published on the State of Qatar.
e - Facilitate the activities of participating delegations by transmitting their requests to the authorities concerned in the work group of the Protocol.
f- Manage the funds of participating countries.
g - Prepare and distribute briefcases to the participants.

2) The Internet Group: The tasks of the group:

a- Prepare reports, information and meetings with the press in the official languages of Conference: Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
b - Provide as one goes along, information, reports and photographs for the Web site of the Summit.
c - Put on the Web site, the resolutions, statements to the press, reports and others.
d - Collaborate with the Press centre to ensure quick access to press statements and press releases on the Summit.

3) The Group of Translation:
The tasks of the group:
a- Translation of the documents of the Summit.
b-Simultaneous translation during the Summit sessions in the official languages. c - Simultaneous translation during press conferences.
d- Simultaneous translation during bilateral meetings

4) The Group of data saving:
The tasks of the group:
a- Enter data on participating delegations in the Summit (Time of arrival, departure, personal information, etc) in the computer system of the Organizing Committee
b - Enter guests' data in the Summit.
c – Enter data of the participants to the Summit.
d - Enter the data of the services related to transport and accommodation of participating delegations.
